From television premieres to international events, Pooh and Pavel are now among the most prominent faces of the Thai BL scene. In an exclusive video interview for AsianStyle, they talk about the dynamics of their work, personal growth, and ambitions. What can we look forward to from this duo in the near future?

Pooh & Pavel attended Milan Fashion Week

Milan is no longer just about fashion shows and closed salons for fashion editors. During Fashion Week, the city becomes a lively crossroad of cultures, languages, and stories—a place where film, music, and the digital generation of fans meet. And it was here, amid the hustle and bustle of February, that two names that resonate far beyond Thailand’s borders appeared among the guests—Pooh Krittin and Pavel Naret.

While Pavel planned to attend the Gucci show, Pooh headed to Tod’s. Their presence at Milan Fashion Week was not just a symbolic “trip to Europe”. It fits into a broader trend that is becoming increasingly apparent on the European fashion scene: Asian artists are no longer on the sidelines but are a natural part of it – as brand ambassadors, regular guests in the front rows, and faces of global campaigns.

For viewers who are gradually discovering the world of Thai boys’ love, Pooh and Pavel may be the gateway. Their debut as a couple came with the series Pit Babe (2023), a dynamic story set in the world of motorsports that gained a significant international audience and was followed by the sequel Pit Babe 2: The Series (2025). Since then, their career has moved on to more ambitious projects, including the upcoming fantasy series The Grim Lover, which was presented at CHANGEVERSE 2026, and their latest title, Goddess Bless You From Death (2025), which combines a crime plot with elements of mystery and horror.

This interview was created in collaboration with Jus in Bello, a non-profit project founded by event management professionals. Their goal is to connect fans from around the world with actors from the fields of film, television, and the arts through international fan meetings. We are grateful for this opportunity.

This year, thanks to Jus in Bello, you can look forward to many BL fan meetings in Rome — so don’t forget to check their website to see if your favorite pairing is coming too!

Exclusive interview with Pooh & Pavel

During Milan Fashion Week, they recorded an interview for Asianstyle, which we are now bringing to you. Despite their busy schedule, both actors found time to stop by and answer our questions directly in front of the camera. In a short but sincere video, they discussed not only their beginnings, but also their plans for the future.

It has been some time since your first series together, Pit Babe, and since then you have worked on several projects. How has your professional dynamic evolved over this period, and what have you learned from each other?

Pavel: I think we learned a lot from the professional side. You know, learning for three and a half year, nearly four years of working together. We learned a lot of things and, you know, it made us to become who we are and to try different things, new opportunity and the next series I think we will get to learn more because it’s technically harder.

Pooh: Yes, we’ll grow up together.

Your projects often include emotionally and physically demanding scenes, whether powerful dramatic moments or very intimate situations. How do you prepare for such scenes, and what is the most challenging aspect for you at the moment?

Pavel: I think making every scene in our series is very difficult, especially the emotional and dramatic scene and it takes a lot of, you know, driving into the character, understanding every aspect of it, understanding every feeling that character has in a novel and in real life. So, it was quite a challenge for us.

Pooh: And when we shoot, it’s not just one take because there are many camera angles. Yes, so we have to do many takes and it’s hard.

Pooh, balancing acting, growing popularity, and university studies requires a great deal of energy. How do you maintain a balance between you career and personal life, and what helps you stay mentally focused?

I think I can do both because of my passion. One is my main duty, which is being a university student, and the other is my dream, which is to be here. Now that I am here, I want to do my best.

Pavel, you spent several years living in New Zealand, and thanks to that worked behind the scene in production during your acting debut in 2 Moons 2. In addition to acting, you are now developing your own fashion brand. How have these experiences shaped you professionally and personally?

I think, living in New Zealand kind of helped me to live my life the way I am right now and experienced a lot of before and becoming who I am. My work in this industry has made me gain a lot of experience and to become like understanding the brand right now is very difficult. The direction and all that stuff and working as an actor right now is like trying to do both things, so I’m trying my best to do that.

Your popularity now extend beyond Asia, and you are already meeting your fans in places such as Europe. How do you perceive this international dimension of your career and your relationship with audience abroad?

Pavel: I think, we try our best to connect with fans in Europe or other places around the globe using English and connecting through our trend and music and acting.

Pooh: Connected by heart.

Pavel: We try to do something that is requested by them. When we see comments on the social media platform and how they are sharing with us, interacting with us and all that stuff, it’s very fun actually.

When you look at your careers today, where would you like to grow next as an acting duo? Is this something you would still like to explore or challenge yourselves with as Pooh and Pavel? What do you wanna do for the next series?

Pooh: I think our next series, The Grim Lover, will be quite challenging for me because it changes my character. In the two previous series I played cute characters, but this one is more cool and handsome. Yeah, and I want to grow up to be a grim reaper.

Pavel: Very different and really handsome. For me, I think any role I would like to try, because so many career jobs that I’ve been doing for the acting — like police, you know, racer.

If you were to complete the sentence in one line today, “Pooh and Pavel are…”, how would you do it?

Pavel: Pooh and Pavel are awesome actors from Thailand. This is how we will say it.

Pooh: Okay! (both actors laugh)

Both: And we love you.
